Online Arizona Winter Citrus Workshop

The University of Arizona Yuma County Cooperative Extension is hosting the Arizona Winter Citrus Workshop.

 

This is a three hour workshop with 8 different speakers talking about current status of HLB disease in Florida, Texas, California, and Arizona. California Red scale program updates for the 2022 season for Yuma County, Citrus Health Management Area Yuma County Update for Spring 2022. Traditional and New Methods of Scouting for the Asian Citrus Psyllid (ACP). Latest research findings on lemon canker and wood rot diseases. The spread of citrus brown wood rot in Yuma. Common insect pests and diseases in Southern CA/AZ citrus production. Special focus will be on citrus thrips and Phytophthora root rot. Insects biology, damage, spray application parameters, and chemical control options.
