Pesticide Application Equipment and Calibration w/Certificate

This course was developed primarily for professional pesticide applicators working in turf and landscape, but can be helpful to anyone who applies pesticides. Learners will be able to describe why calibration is important and be able to list the materials and tools needed in order to calibrate equipment. They will see various examples of pesticide application equipment for liquid, granular, and soil drenching and soil injection applications. The course includes many examples of calculations needed to calibrate equipment.

It is accredited by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (1.5 hours Other), the Structural Pest Control Board (1.5 hours Technical [Br 2 or 3] for FR and Operators OR 1.5 hours Pesticide Application and Use for Applicators), Certified Crop Advisor (1.0 IPM), Western Chapter International Society of Arboriculture (1.0 for Certified Arborists and 1.0 Practice for Board Certified Arborists), and the Arizona Department of Agriculture (1.5 credits).

The course contains video so it requires a computer that can play audio and video.
