It is designed to teach about the life cycle of Fuller rose beetle, Naupactus godmani, its natural enemies, how to survey for it, why it is of significance for export countries, and how to manage the pest using a systems approach.

This course was developed by Dr. Elizabeth Grafton-Cardwell , a citrus IPM Specialist and Research Entomologist and Dr. Joseph Morse, Professor of Entomology and Entomologist, Emeritus from the University of California Riverside along with the University of California Statewide IPM Program (UC IPM).

It is accredited by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (1.0 hour Other), Certified Crop Advisor (0.5 IPM), and the Arizona Department of Agriculture (1.0 credit).
